Pylons and Shipping Traffic – Strait of Messina
The two pylons of the Strait of Messina rebuilt after City Update 16: Italy, with choreographed lighting and over 20 AI ships crossing the Strait.
Correction and addition of the pylons across the Strait of Messina, following Microsoft’s City Update 16: Italy, with realistic lighting, including the choreographed lights on the Punta Faro pylon, and descriptive Landmarks.
But that’s not all: the scenery comes alive with a full AI shipping traffic system. Over 20 vessels animate the Strait at every moment of your flight: passenger ferries, fast hydrofoils, cargo ships and cruise liners in transit, fishing boats and pleasure yachts. Routes follow the Strait’s real geography and the official traffic separation scheme, always keeping a ship in sight beneath the pylons.
The result: not just a static point of interest, but one of the busiest and most alive corners of the Mediterranean, rebuilt in detail.
